Senior Software Engineer – Golang, TypeScript, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, maintain, and enhance microservices in Golang along with frontend applications.

• Create high-performing, customer-facing interfaces guided by the design system.

• Take ownership of features from the initial concept all the way to production.

• Shape technical strategy and convey architectural decisions effectively.

• Manage the balance between existing systems and new technological advancements.

• Enhance the performance and observability of services and applications.

• Elevate the quality of life for the team and business through automation, process enhancements, or new technology implementations.

• Gather, process, validate, and provide extensive financial data related to cross-border payments.

• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization and the immediate engineering team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing services and web application backends using Golang.

• Proficient in deploying applications within Docker containers.

• Experience in creating component-based application frontends utilizing React/TypeScript.

• Skilled in writing efficient SQL queries.

• Knowledge of clean code principles along with TypeScript and Go idioms.

• Experience in code review processes and setting quality standards for the team.

• Capacity to learn and engage with new business domains and products.

• Ability to communicate complex subjects to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Willingness to discuss personal development and skill enhancement.

• Familiarity with concurrent logic applications, such as goroutines, is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Experience in building CI/CD pipelines, particularly with GitLab CI, is a plus but not required.

• Knowledge of configuring observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana is beneficial but not essential.

• Experience using AI to boost productivity and operationalize AI tools is desirable but not necessary.

• Familiarity with MaterialUI, Airflow, Python, or Terraform is a plus but not required.

• Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM EST/EDT, with possible on-call support obligations.
