This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Design, build, and sustain scalable AWS infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines leveraging AWS services or third-party tools.
• Operate and enhance containerized and serverless workloads using EKS, ECS, Lambda, and Fargate.
• Monitor, log, and troubleshoot systems with Amazon CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, and related observability tools.
• Implement best practices for AWS security, including IAM, VPCs, security groups, and secrets management.
• Automate infrastructure operations, scaling, and maintenance through scripting and AWS-native automation services.
• Lead incident response efforts and conduct post-incident reviews to enhance reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects effectively.
• Contribute to and improve QA automation processes.
• Assist with additional infrastructure, platform, and operational initiatives as required.
• Collaborate with Engineering and QA teams on automated testing, issue resolution, and the development of new features.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing production-grade software, including at least 2 years of hands-on experience with cloud-based infrastructure.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical engineering discipline.
• Extensive experience managing production workloads on AWS, including EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, and CloudWatch.
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code through Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Proficient in Python, Bash, and SQL.
• Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using AWS-native or third-party tools like GitLab, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS) or ECS.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and best practices in cloud security.
• Programming experience in Golang and/or TypeScript is advantageous.
