Software Engineer, Data Integration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and develop data integration interfaces and ingestion pipelines that provide the Bayesian platform with real-time clinical data.

• Create automated tests for the data-layer integration.

• Work alongside client technical teams to identify and address integration challenges.

• Oversee production deployments related to data interfaces, ingestion, and mapping activities.

• Act as the primary technical contact for data integration matters during the go-live phase.

• Deliver status reports to cross-functional partners throughout the go-live process.

• Build integration frameworks and tools utilizing LLMs and automation techniques.

• Partner with the Implementation Lead, Clinical Integration, and client technical teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in building and deploying data interface and ingestion pipelines into production environments.

• Proficient in integrating with external APIs, preferably with Python.

• Skilled in diagnosing and resolving data accuracy issues across services, storage, and external data sources.

• Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure in production settings.

• Familiarity with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL in production.

• Proven ability to write automated integration tests for live systems.

• Experience managing production deployments and providing support during go-live as part of an on-call or support rotation.

• Competent in triaging production-related issues.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across different functional areas.

• Preferred: experience with SMART on FHIR, EHR systems, HL7v2, and FHIR.

• Preferred: experience working with enterprise clients.

• Preferred: experience in developing internal tools or automation, including the use of LLMs.
