This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design FHIR-compliant data models that align with implementation guides, profiles, and internal architectural standards.
• Create and implement strategies for data harmonization and enrichment pertaining to EHR, HIE, and claims data.
• Build, develop, and sustain scalable FHIR-to-OMOP transformation pipelines utilizing dbt and SQL.
• Standardize healthcare data using SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD-10, and RxNorm.
• Design and oversee custom clinical value sets.
• Establish frameworks and algorithms for validating clinical accuracy, consistency, and longitudinal data integrity.
• Produce documentation that conveys data design requirements to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Facilitate patient care and research initiatives through precise and usable clinical data.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical area.
• Over 5 years of professional experience in healthcare data architecture or clinical informatics within the Healthcare or Life Sciences fields.
• Proficiency with healthcare data models and interoperability standards, including OMOP, FHIR R4/R5, HL7 v2, CDA/CCD-A, or NCPDP.
• Advanced skills in Python and SQL, with practical experience in healthcare data integration.
• Master’s degree or professional certification in Clinical Informatics, PharmD, or equivalent hands-on clinical informatics experience.
• Practical experience with dbt and Jupyter Notebooks.
• Background in designing or implementing healthcare data architecture and integration solutions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proven capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Must not require employer-sponsored work authorization currently or in the future for employment in the United States.
