This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a technical subject matter expert within the Operations Technology Transformation team.
• Design and execute scalable data architectures and dependable data flows into the enterprise data warehouse.
• Create and oversee cloud-based data platforms, database schemas, and data models.
• Aggregate and manage large, intricate datasets.
• Architect and implement ETL/ELT data pipelines from both internal and external sources.
• Establish data models, integration patterns, and engineering best practices.
• Develop scalable, secure, and cost-effective enterprise data solutions.
• Monitor and enhance platform and pipeline performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Support analytics tools, operational reporting, performance measurement, and business intelligence efforts.
• Create and optimize SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and database objects.
• Implement query tuning and performance enhancement strategies.
• Provide technical support to analytics team members.
• Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, analysts, and technology teams to convert requirements into technical solutions.
• Assist in delivery across development, testing, UAT, and production environments.
• Engage in solution design reviews, technical planning, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Identify and resolve pipeline failures, data quality challenges, and performance bottlenecks.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks.
• Conduct root cause analysis and promote continuous improvements.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Extensive experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or similar technical positions.
• Strong background in designing and developing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Practical experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure data services.
• Advanced SQL development capabilities, including query optimization, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Experience handling large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, database design, and data integration principles.
• Experience supporting analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
