📋 Description

• Lead the technical design and implementation of banking functionalities that can scale with our expanding customer base and facilitate a seamless mobile experience.

• Establish architectural standards and best practices to ensure code quality, performance, security, and reliability across banking services.

• Take ownership of the technical strategy for addressing complex challenges at scale, including the handling of sensitive financial data and real-time money transfers.

• Mentor and develop engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and collaborative problem-solving on challenging issues.

• Collaborate with product, design, risk, and compliance teams to define the roadmap and deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Create and uphold comprehensive documentation for a growing remote workforce.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional experience in backend or full-stack software engineering, including leadership of projects or teams.

• Demonstrated success in designing, building, and scaling production-quality APIs and distributed systems, preferably within banking, payments, or other regulated financial sectors.

• Experience dealing with sensitive financial data and money transfer systems, such as ledgers, account management, ACH, or card processing.

• Proficient in Node.js and TypeScript or similar contemporary backend frameworks.

• Familiarity with microservices, Kubernetes, and AWS.

• Previous experience with mobile or user-facing applications, particularly React Native, is advantageous.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Proven track record of mentoring engineers and influencing technical decisions across teams.

• Strong drive and proactive approach.

• Awareness of modern software engineering practices.

• Must possess authorization to work legally in the United States.
