Software Engineer, Backend – .NET/React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, improve, and maintain applications utilizing .NET Core and React.

• Create and manage REST APIs, focusing on performance, security, and integration quality.

• Implement new features and improvements that align with product requirements and user stories.

• Engage in technical analysis, refining, and estimating work items alongside the team.

• Handle the modeling, maintenance, and querying of relational databases.

• Document APIs and services using Swagger.

• Collaborate with the Product Owner, Designer, and other team members to define and construct solutions.

• Take part in Agile ceremonies, contributing to planning and the ongoing enhancement of the product.

• Perform code reviews and advocate for development best practices.

• Spot opportunities for technical enhancement, refactoring, and reducing technical debt.

• Create and sustain automated tests to guarantee quality delivery.

• Work on integrations within AWS or Azure cloud environments.

• Aid in the development and advancement of CI/CD pipelines.

• Utilize Git following the team's established version control standards and processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in development with .NET Core.

• Strong understanding of creating and maintaining REST APIs.

• Familiarity with Git and code versioning practices.

• Knowledge of relational databases, ideally SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL.

• Experience with automated unit and integration testing.

• Awareness of CI/CD practices.

• Experience working within Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.

• Ability to analyze requirements and suggest appropriate technical solutions for the product.

• Experience or understanding of front-end development using React.

• Proficiency in English for reading technical documentation and basic written communication.

• Familiarity with AWS or Azure services is an advantage.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture is a plus.

• Experience with application observability, monitoring, and troubleshooting is beneficial.

• Familiarity with Swagger/OpenAPI for API documentation is a bonus.

• Experience in conducting code reviews and advocating for best practices is advantageous.

• Background in environments with a DevOps culture and automated continuous delivery pipelines is a plus.
