Senior Python Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Quickly develop prototypes and iterate on backend solutions while creating Proofs of Concept.

• Collaborate with frontend developers, machine learning engineers, and domain specialists to design and implement innovative solutions.

• Incorporate AI/ML models into backend systems and enhance performance for scalable applications.

• Construct scalable and secure systems utilizing AWS services and following industry best practices.

• Mentor team members, share expertise, and promote curiosity and experimentation.

• Explore cutting-edge technologies and deliver significant solutions as part of the Innovation Team.

• A strong curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging backend technologies.

• Capability to create, prototype, and refine solutions efficiently.

• Proficiency in communicating technical concepts in an accessible manner.

• Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.

• Expertise in Python and FastAPI for backend development.

• Solid experience with AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, and S3.

• Familiarity with the integration of AI/ML models into backend systems.

• Comprehensive understanding of CI/CD pipelines, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL.

• Experience utilizing monitoring and observability tools like CloudWatch or Datadog.

• Knowledge of Docker, containerization, and debugging tools.

• Exposure to event-driven architectures and message queues such as SQS, SNS, or Kafka.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CDK.

• Understanding of database optimization and performance tuning for both SQL and NoSQL databases.
