Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Develop and manage features from inception to deployment across backend, frontend, and production environments.

• Create and document architectural decisions related to on-chain and off-chain systems.

• Guarantee the security and accuracy of signing processes, contract interactions, keys, and sensitive information.

• Construct backend services using Go and TypeScript for chain indexing, transaction relaying, event processing, and APIs.

• Develop infrastructure backend services for tokenizing in-game assets and currencies.

• Create React dApp frontends for wallet connectivity, transaction signing, and on-chain state management.

• Integrate smart wallets, accounts, paymasters, and bundlers into product offerings.

• Design SDKs for use by game studios and partners.

• Oversee production services and contracts, engaging in on-call rotations.

• Conduct code reviews.

• Set up and maintain AI tools within repositories.

• Collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, smart contract developers, backend and frontend engineers, QA specialists, and DevOps teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in commercial software development.

• Senior-level expertise in both backend and frontend production environments.

• Successfully shipped and maintained dApps in a production setting.

• Experience in production environments using viem and wagmi.

• Familiarity with wallet signers, EOAs, browser and embedded wallets, smart accounts, personal_sign, EIP-191, EIP-712, EIP-1193, and network switching.

• Practical knowledge of smart wallets, UserOperations, paymasters, and ERC-1271.

• Production experience with Go and TypeScript/Node.js.

• Experience in processing on-chain events, including idempotency, reorganization handling, and retries.

• Knowledge of asynchronous messaging and event-driven design utilizing Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS.

• Proficient with PostgreSQL and Redis.

• Experience designing REST and gRPC APIs.

• Proficient in React and TypeScript.

• Understanding of web security principles such as XSS, CSRF, CSP, and the secure management of signatures and keys within the browser.

• Capability to read and comprehend Solidity contracts and the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).

• Knowledge of smart contract vulnerability categories including reentrancy, front-running/MEV, oracle manipulation, and signature replay attacks.

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with observability tools, including metrics, logs, tracing, alerting, and incident diagnosis in production.

• Testing experience encompassing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

• Proficient in Git and CI/CD practices.

• Daily hands-on experience with AI coding tools like Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor, including repository setup.

• Proficient in spoken English at a B2 level or higher.
