SAP Developer – Manufacturing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, code, and deploy tailored ABAP solutions, including RICEFW components, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and the Enhancement Framework, specifically for SAP Manufacturing modules such as PP, QM, and PM.

• Configure and improve SAP production and shop-floor modules to ensure they align with client utility infrastructure production workflows.

• Establish and manage integrations utilizing ABAP, IDocs, OData, and APIs between SAP S/4HANA, SAP Execution systems (ME/MII/DM), and third-party shop-floor equipment or SCADA systems.

• Participate in the rollout of SAP S/4HANA by defining technical requirements, designing comprehensive process workflows, and creating system extensions.

• Resolve production challenges, optimize ABAP batch jobs, debug intricate code, and enhance Fiori/UI5 interfaces.

• Collaborate closely with architects from the SAP Center of Excellence and business subject matter experts.

• Assist in system adoption during the Go-Live and hyper-care phases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant hands-on expertise in advanced SAP ABAP development.

• Proficient in Object-Oriented ABAP (OO-ABAP), ALV Reports, Dialog Programming, CDS views, AMDP, and the creation of OData services.

• Extensive working knowledge and practical development experience within SAP Manufacturing modules.

• Strong background in SAP PP (Production Planning).

• Experience with QM (Quality Management), PM (Plant Maintenance), or SAP ME/MII/DM is highly desirable.

• Proven track record in participating in full-lifecycle SAP implementations or large-scale ERP modernization initiatives.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly preferred.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to convert operational factory floor limitations into scalable SAP ABAP technical specifications.
