Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services utilizing Java and Spring Boot.

• Create RESTful APIs and microservices for a scalable healthcare platform.

• Engage in frontend development with ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Influence technical architecture and design choices.

• Develop new features and enhance existing functionalities.

• Assist in integrations with EHR systems and healthcare partners.

• Write unit and integration tests following test-driven development principles.

• Diagnose performance issues and implement effective algorithmic solutions.

• Employ secure programming techniques and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation of deployment processes.

• Utilize AI tools for code generation, refactoring, documentation, and test creation.

• Document technical specifications and liaise with colleagues across a global team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Over 4 years of experience in software development.

• Strong foundational knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.

• Familiarity with ReactJS or another frontend framework.

• Experience in developing REST APIs and microservices.

• Understanding of enterprise software architecture and n-tier applications.

• Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.

• Preference for candidates located in the Eastern or Central time zones.

• Nice to have: experience in healthcare interoperability, including HL7, FHIR, or SMART on FHIR.

• Nice to have: exposure to AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform.

• Nice to have: experience with relational or NoSQL databases, CI/CD pipelines, Agile methodologies, or DevOps practices.
