Senior C# Developer – Explorers, Identity Resilience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design and execute end-to-end recovery flows, encompassing REST and gRPC contracts, server-side orchestration, and target-machine agents.

• Develop PowerShell cmdlets featuring parameter validation and a consistent object model.

• Create pre-flight validation processes across REST, server, and agent layers.

• Collaborate with recovery technologies for SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or Active Directory.

• Oversee long-running distributed sessions, which include agent deployment, keep-alive mechanisms, failure cleanup, timeouts, and cancellation procedures.

• Take ownership of and manage the integration test suite.

• Refactor and enhance an established codebase.

• Create Veeam Explorers for detailed recovery and implement Active Directory Forest Recovery to ensure identity resilience.

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 5 years of experience in commercial C# product development.

• Profound knowledge of .NET, data structures, and algorithms.

• Proven experience in designing service APIs such as REST or gRPC, accommodating external consumers and backward compatibility requirements.

• Strong skills in asynchronous programming and multithreading, including session lifecycle management, cancellation, and prolonged operations.

• Expertise in either Windows Server and Active Directory administration or internals, or database recovery mechanics for SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.

• Ability to navigate a large existing codebase and refactor it safely.

• Proficiency in English for daily communication within an international team.
