Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software that aligns with functional requirements, development guidelines, and the defined scope of work.

• Participate in team discussions concerning technology, development best practices, and opportunities for process enhancements.

• Focus on application and process quality while promoting continuous improvement.

• Oversee projects and ensure timely delivery of client deliverables.

• Interact directly with customers to address product defects, clarify product requirements, and manage deployment activities.

• Work in collaboration with Product Management and the Development Manager to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Guarantee high-quality results and share expertise with fellow engineers.

• Develop and maintain programs and services for Labgen, the organization’s Laboratory Information System.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in C or C++ development.

• Proficient in discussing computer science concepts, including algorithm complexity, data structures, as well as searching and sorting algorithms.

• Experience with RESTful APIs is considered an advantage.

• Practical experience with Linux/Unix operating systems.

• Familiarity with JavaScript and any JavaScript libraries or frameworks, such as ReactJS or Sencha/EXTJS, is a plus.

• Project management experience is advantageous.

• Customer management experience is a plus.

• Experience with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) is an asset.
