Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Design and develop C# and .NET applications that provide operational data to attorneys and firm leadership.

• Architect and implement services utilizing contemporary .NET patterns.

• Transform intricate legal and operational domains into software solutions.

• Create and develop integrations across CRM, telephony, document management, cloud services, and accounting systems.

• Build and maintain REST APIs and middleware.

• Develop event-driven and asynchronous workflows.

• Create AI-powered tools for call analysis, document processing, and operational data extraction.

• Enhance AI development tools, including agents, context engineering, and automation.

• Design and manage applications on Azure, covering provisioning, networking, identity, security, and cost management.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, developer tools, and engineering standards.

• Engage in shared IT responsibilities and provide on-call support as necessary.

• Take ownership of projects from start to finish, including requirements gathering, deployment, and maintenance.

• Collaborate daily with the Lead Engineer and Director of Technology.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in software development.

• Expertise in C# and .NET (ASP.NET Core), with hands-on experience in architecting or significantly owning production systems.

• Proven experience in designing full-stack applications from inception to completion, including modern front-end frameworks like Blazor or React.

• Strong skills in relational databases and SQL, such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL.

• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure, including the deployment, operation, and security of real workloads.

• Experience in building and consuming REST APIs and integrating third-party SaaS platforms.

• Proficient with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and contemporary development workflows.

• Working knowledge of AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.

• Self-motivated, capable of managing projects from start to finish with minimal supervision.

• Architectural expertise in multi-tenant or white-label platform design.

• Familiarity with message-based or event-driven systems.

• Experience in identity and access management using OpenID Connect, Microsoft Entra ID, or similar identity providers.

• Production experience with AI and LLM APIs like Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, or AWS Bedrock.

• Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, custom agents, or automation capabilities.

• Knowledge of observability practices, including structured logging, distributed tracing, and OpenTelemetry.

• Familiarity with CRM platform APIs such as Salesforce and Microsoft Graph.

• Experience in mentoring junior developers or leading small technical projects.
