Desarrollador AS400/RPG

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Design and develop software applications and programs that meet business requirements.

• Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing applications and programs.

• Implement new functionalities and update current applications.

• Collaborate on system integration across various environments.

• Enhance system efficiency and scalability.

• Provide support and optimize existing systems.

• Develop enterprise solutions based on AS400 and RPG for clients in both public and private sectors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum Academic Qualification: University degree, equivalent to a bachelor's degree or higher.

• Graduate in Computing, Information Technology, Systems, or related Engineering fields.

• Proficient in AS400, RPG, and CL programming in ILE environments.

• At least 5 years of experience in roles related to AS400 development.

• Essential knowledge of AS400, RPG, RPG Free, and CL in ILE environments.

• Experience with generating passes and RFCs.

• Familiarity with agile tools: Scrum and JIRA.

• Experience with message exchange languages such as XML and JSON.

• Intermediate proficiency in English.

• Availability to work Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (GMT-6).

• Candidates must be located in LATAM.
