Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop high-quality, innovative software that adheres to coding standards and technical specifications.

• Design, modify, create, write, and implement software programming applications.

• Provide support for and/or install software applications.

• Engage in testing through test review and analysis, witnessing tests, and software certification.

• Create software solutions by analyzing information needs, user requirements, system workflows, data usage, and operational processes.

• Examine problem areas and adhere to the software development lifecycle.

• Document and present solutions effectively.

• Develop flow charts, layouts, and comprehensive documentation.

• Assess feasibility through analysis, defining problems, establishing requirements, developing solutions, and proposing recommendations.

• Prepare and implement solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming needs.

• Create full-stack applications and services that support AI/ML and Generative AI solutions.

• Construct and integrate front-end interfaces, back-end services, REST APIs, databases, and AI/ML model endpoints.

• Collaborate closely with Data Scientists and AI Engineers to operationalize AI/ML models and GenAI capabilities within enterprise applications.

• Develop scalable and reusable software components and application frameworks for AI-driven solutions.

• Integrate applications with enterprise systems and cloud-based services.

• Enhance applications by performing systems analysis and suggesting improvements.

• Define applications and interfaces, delegate responsibilities, understand solution deployment, and communicate interaction needs.

• Establish non-functional requirements and apply architectures to solutions.

• Gather information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development issues while safeguarding confidential IT assets.

• Engage in educational opportunities, read professional literature, maintain professional networks, and participate in professional organizations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A college degree, university degree, or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or relevant equivalent experience is required.

• Relevant equivalent experience may substitute for the required degree.

• Preferred experience includes working as a software engineer, including temporary student employment, internships, co-ops, or extracurricular team activities.

• Experience in an Agile environment is preferred.

• Familiarity with fundamental IT technical skill sets is preferred.

• Ability to guide a solution from requirement scoping to actual launch is preferred.

• This position may necessitate licensing to comply with export controls or sanctions regulations.

• Proficient in applying programming languages, frameworks, and patterns to design, write, configure, test, and maintain software and systems.

• Implement security, privacy, and compliance standards throughout the software lifecycle.

• Utilize modern development practices, including Agile/DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and infrastructure as code.

• Convert business requirements into integrated designs, architectures, patterns, and system interactions.
