Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Develop, test, and deploy scalable applications and services utilizing Python and/or Java.

• Design and implement features, APIs, and integrations throughout the application stack.

• Conduct code reviews to uphold coding standards and best practices.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects, performance bottlenecks, and production issues.

• Enhance application performance, reliability, and scalability through optimizations and refactoring.

• Collaborate with Product, Network Engineering, Architecture, and Operations teams.

• Propel improvements in development processes, CI/CD pipelines, testing methodologies, and engineering practices.

• Contribute to discussions on technical design and participate in architecture reviews.

• Mentor junior developers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.

• 5–7 years of software development experience with Python and/or Java in enterprise settings.

• Extensive experience in designing, developing, and supporting distributed applications and microservices.

• Proven background working within Telecom Networks and Services environments.

• Practical experience with SDLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.

• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming, software design patterns, and system architecture.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the capability to work in cross-functional teams.
