This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, maintain, and provide support for high-quality application solutions that fulfill both business and technical requirements.
• Engage in all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle, which includes analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and support.
• Carry out change control processes and assist in the deployment of application enhancements and system updates.
• Work collaboratively with business and technical teams to gather requirements, analyze needs, and implement effective solutions.
• Investigate and resolve technical and functional issues through troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and effective problem-solving.
• Support and improve existing C/Unix-based applications and systems, ensuring their reliability and performance.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of application quality, development processes, and operational efficiency.
• Assess technical solutions and provide recommendations that align with project and organizational goals.
• Design, develop, test, document, and maintain application software, which includes server, client, and web-based components.
• Take part in technical design activities and contribute to the architecture and design of applications.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, analysts, testers, and business stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
• Produce functional specifications, technical designs, implementation plans, test plans, and deployment documentation.
• Maintain technical documentation that supports application integration and delivery.
• Keep up to date with development tools, technologies, and industry best practices.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in programming, application development, and batch programming using C, Unix, and Linux.
• Proficient in SQL, Oracle, SQL Server, and relational databases for data querying and data structures.
• Experience with system integration, scripting, software development, and SDLC methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Preferred experience with Medicaid IT systems, healthcare systems, and regulatory environments.
• Strong skills in communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, root cause analysis, and project management.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
• Knowledge of DevOps/CI/CD practices.
• Willingness to work flexible hours to meet business needs and travel when necessary.
• Video cameras must be utilized during all interviews and during the first week of orientation.
