Software Engineer, AI Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Identify new sources of audio data and establish dependable pipelines to integrate them into training datasets.

• Develop and enhance large-scale data-processing systems, focusing on data quality, throughput, and cost efficiency.

• Work collaboratively with AI Scientists to refine training datasets and assist in the creation of next-generation models.

• Take charge of engineering projects from problem identification to implementation and ongoing enhancement.

• Design data pipelines that support model training and the development of advanced AI products.

• Integrate engineering, infrastructure, and research to create high-quality datasets at a petabyte scale with minimal cost.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with a solid foundation in backend development.

• Proficient in Python and Bash within Linux environments.

• Experience in building and managing production systems, preferably involving data pipelines or large-scale data processing.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, initiative, and the capability to work independently in uncertain environments.

• Experience with web crawlers, data acquisition, or distributed data-processing systems is a plus.

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code, especially in GCP and Terraform, is advantageous.

• Knowledge of ML training data, dataset quality, or audio processing is a plus.
