Software Engineer 5 – TV Product UI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop cutting-edge UI functionalities for Netflix's premier TV application tailored for devices with limited performance and memory capabilities.

• Collaborate with product, design, algorithm, and engineering teams to define project scopes and enhance user experiences.

• Assess product variations through A/B testing involving real users.

• Work within a TypeScript/JavaScript codebase utilizing React frameworks and Redux architecture optimized for television platforms.

• Employ proprietary Jest-based automation frameworks for comprehensive testing.

• Produce testable code and develop automation processes to confirm feature performance in cooperation with test engineers.

• Implement features that yield direct and quantifiable business benefits.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in developing consumer-facing products/apps.

• Proven experience as a tech/project lead for significant cross-functional initiatives.

• Established collaborations with Product and Design teams.

• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and UI architecture.

• Capable of navigating various programming languages and technology stacks, including Node.js and GraphQL.

• Demonstrated ability to forge a path in uncharted territories.

• Genuine curiosity about user engagement with the application and a strong desire to develop product features.

• Capacity to appreciate diverse viewpoints when devising solutions.
