Software Engineer 1 – Full-Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Deliver solutions across the entire stack, including bug fixes, minor features, testing coverage, and addressing technical debt.

• Utilize AI coding tools and thoroughly evaluate their results.

• Track requests through all stages, from the front end to the API, services, and database.

• Develop an understanding of custody, clearing, and trading systems.

• Engage in code reviews both as a learner and as a reviewer.

• Take part in refinement sessions, sprint kick-offs, standups, demos, and retrospectives.

• Work collaboratively with Product, QA, and UX teams to clarify requirements, reproduce bugs, and address design inquiries.

• Investigate and resolve QA/UAT issues, collaborating when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Up to 2 years of professional software engineering experience.

• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.

• Familiarity with at least one of Node.js or React.

• Practical experience with AI coding assistants.

• Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL writing skills.

• Comfort with git-based workflows: branching, pull requests, reviews, and continuous integration.

• Excellent written communication skills with a strong command of the English language.

• Ability to seek assistance at appropriate times.

• Eligibility to work in the U.S. or Canada.

• Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.

• Preferred: exposure to microservices, Docker, or AWS.

• Preferred: experience in automated testing.

• Preferred: background in finance, brokerage, trading, or blockchain.

• Preferred: familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
