Software Development Manager – Growth

📋 Description

• Lead and develop a team of developers through both technical and professional mentoring.

• Evaluate architecture, collaborate with developers, and contribute code alongside the team.

• Own the outcomes related to Activation in collaboration with product, design, and data partners.

• Provide guidance on AI-driven onboarding, including defining problems, prioritizing tasks, and identifying infrastructure requirements.

• Define weekly release processes, implement instrumentation, and conduct learning-focused experiments.

• Advocate for the pragmatic and responsible integration of AI technologies.

• Collaborate with Jane AI, assistant teams, and core product teams to ensure a cohesive clinic experience.

• Develop products and tools that enable clinics to operate effectively, care for patients, and foster community growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven hands-on software development experience with a trajectory into management of development teams.

• Continue to write and review code actively.

• Proficient in assessing architectural trade-offs and guiding technical strategy with senior and staff developers.

• Experience working on a growth or product-led growth team.

• Responsible for an activation or conversion outcome, including instances where delivered work did not achieve the desired metric.

• Successfully took an AI product from concept to market, managing it throughout the entire process.

• Strong grasp of instrumentation and the execution of well-structured experiments.

• Demonstrated coaching experience with examples of facilitating team member development.

• Comfortable expressing opinions and embracing the possibility of being incorrect in discussions.

• Background in healthcare or vertical SaaS is a plus, but not mandatory.

• Must be eligible to work in Canada or the United States without current or future sponsorship.
