Senior Manager – Software Engineering, Health100 Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Lead engineering teams in developing a consumer health experience on the Health100 platform.

• Identify, prioritize, shape, and execute complex initiatives across the platform.

• Design, oversee, and enhance scalable distributed systems, APIs, and AI-powered platform features.

• Recruit, mentor, and retain top-tier engineers.

• Drive engineering projects from strategy and prioritization through to delivery.

• Establish KPIs and OKRs, proactively address risks, and ensure operational excellence.

• Advocate for the secure, compliant, and responsible utilization of AI technologies.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, design, security, analytics, and business teams.

• Guide the integration and validation of intricate technology solutions.

• Utilize Generative AI, machine learning, intelligent automation, and cutting-edge technologies.

• Deliver scalable, cloud-native, and AI-enhanced solutions that elevate consumer experiences and business results.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in software engineering.

• More than 3 years of experience in managing and developing high-performing engineering teams in Agile, cloud-native settings.

• Strong technical expertise in Java and microservices architecture.

• At least 5 years of experience in cloud development, preferably with GCP.

• Capable of guiding architectural decisions and assessing engineering trade-offs.

• Proven experience leading teams through the entire software delivery lifecycle, from discovery and design to deployment and large-scale production operations.

• Experience in delivering modern platform capabilities and leveraging AI-driven technologies, large language models (LLMs), intelligent automation, or data-oriented solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Alternatively, a high school diploma plus 4 years of relevant work experience.
