Software Development Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop high-quality production code, perform code reviews, and tackle intricate architectural challenges during client projects.

• Create, document, and uphold modern engineering standards for ReactJS, NodeJS, and AWS cloud-native systems.

• Engage in the Product Development Standards Committee to establish best practices for CI/CD, testing, security, and observability.

• Conduct regular project audits to ensure compliance with engineering standards.

• Build and sustain production-ready internal assets, including boilerplate repositories, reference architectures, and shared UI/backend components.

• Promote AI adoption across delivery teams by utilizing approved tool registries.

• Identify recurring technical challenges and develop systemic, reusable solutions.

• Design and implement developer training programs focusing on ReactJS/NodeJS patterns, event-driven microservices, and AWS best practices.

• Facilitate company-wide Leadership Labs centered on technical decision-making, code maintainability, and trade-off analysis.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, DevOps, and QA leads to align technical solutions with product goals, business outcomes, and evolving cloud technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of hands-on software engineering experience with a proven track record of establishing technical standards across various delivery teams.

• Advanced proficiency in ReactJS, NodeJS (APIs, asynchronous systems), and cloud-native AWS architectures.

• Demonstrated ability to influence without authority, mentor senior engineers, and articulate complex technical trade-offs to stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent experience).

• Current AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect or Developer) are highly preferred.
