This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive, real-world testing to validate software releases.

• Work collaboratively across teams, including engineering and support.

• Develop automation frameworks that facilitate end-to-end testing.

• Create and design tools for testing and benchmarking distributed systems.

• Gain expertise in using internal, highly distributed systems.

• Manage and maintain test environments.

• Design workflows and tools to automate testing and benchmarking processes.

• Ensure that code releases are robust, scalable, and perform optimally on Akamai's cloud and edge infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• A background in engineering or equivalent education in computer science or a related discipline.

• Relevant hands-on experience with test automation frameworks like Pytest, Robot Framework, or similar tools.

• Experience working in Linux/Unix environments.

• Moderate to advanced skills in Python programming.

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, testing frameworks, TCP/IP, and HTTP protocols.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Experience with AI-driven tools for test creation, debugging, or automation, as well as observability tools like Grafana and Prometheus is a plus.
