Software Developer – .NET, SharePoint

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of Tier 2 fixes from start to finish by investigating issues, replicating defects in lower environments, implementing solutions, and assisting with validation during releases.

• Create production-ready solutions utilizing secure SDLC practices, writing clean and maintainable code, and making sound architectural choices.

• Provide support for patches, enhancements, post-deployment validation, rollback, and mitigation efforts.

• Develop and maintain APIs and integration components across various systems.

• Design, develop, and maintain solutions for SharePoint Online and/or on-premises environments.

• Work collaboratively with Business Analysts and QA teams to clarify requirements, enhance acceptance criteria, and address testing defects.

• Revise documentation, enhance monitoring and logging, and minimize recurring incidents through proactive improvements.

• Utilize ITSM tools to track, update, and resolve incidents and change requests.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of practical experience in .NET development, including build, deployment, and support.

• Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles.

• Proficient in working with technical design documentation.

• Experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.

• Prior experience in SharePoint development and maintenance is preferred.

• Proven experience with GitHub Copilot.

• Comfortable working with both custom applications and vendor-supported SaaS environments.

• Familiarity with ITSM tools like ServiceNow is a plus; training will be provided.

• Proficiency in Azure DevOps (ADO), GitHub Enterprise, and associated development tools is mandatory.

• Knowledge of Power BI is an asset.

• Familiarity with emerging AI development paradigms, such as agentic development, is a bonus.

• Must be able to work during the primary support window of 5:30 PM–8:30 AM IST, with a total of 9 hours per day including a 1-hour break.
