Software Developer, Java, SDD

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop backend software using Java 21 or higher.

• Design and implement solutions based on Spring Boot and Spring Data.

• Apply hexagonal architecture, microservices, design patterns, SOLID principles, Clean Code, DDD, and TDD.

• Design APIs with an API First approach utilizing OpenAPI / Swagger.

• Implement event-driven architectures and manage queues, partitioning, consumption, and retries.

• Work with Apache Kafka and messaging systems like ActiveMQ.

• Design, model, and optimize relational and NoSQL databases.

• Utilize OpenShift, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, and Spinnaker.

• Implement unit and integration tests.

• Apply monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana and Dynatrace.

• Integrate AI throughout the product lifecycle, from development to deployment.

• Work with the SDD (Spec Driven Development) methodology.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in backend development.

• Proficiency in Java 21 or higher.

• Expertise in Spring Boot and Spring Data.

• Experience with Hexagonal Architecture and microservices architecture.

• Proven experience in designing APIs with an API First approach (OpenAPI / Swagger).

• Knowledge of design patterns, SOLID principles, and Clean Code methodology.

• Familiarity with Domain Driven Design (DDD) and TDD.

• Experience with Apache Kafka and messaging systems like ActiveMQ.

• Understanding of event-driven architectures and management of queues, partitioning, consumption, and retries.

• Relational databases experience (MariaDB or others) and NoSQL (MongoDB).

• Optimization of queries, indexes, scalar functions, tuning, and data modeling.

• Experience with OpenShift / Kubernetes.

• Proficient in CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub and Spinnaker.

• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools: Grafana and Dynatrace.

• Experience with unit tests and integration testing.

• Technical focus on AI during development.

• Use of AI throughout the product lifecycle.

• Experience with the SDD (Spec Driven Development) methodology.
