Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and implement comprehensive software applications and automation solutions.

• Collaborate with the Software Architect and Platform Development Manager in both Azure and traditional data center environments.

• Maintain, enhance, and resolve issues in legacy applications.

• Work alongside the data science team, platform automation team, and business units.

• Create, maintain, and troubleshoot web and mobile applications.

• Develop, maintain, and debug automation scripts using .NET, C#, Python, and additional programming languages.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to established frameworks.

• Engage in code reviews and share knowledge within the team.

• Diagnose and resolve software and script issues; conduct root cause analysis in complex systems.

• Partner with designers, developers, and product managers to introduce new features.

• Test and deploy applications, scripts, and cloud-based technologies.

• Keep up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, development tools, programming techniques, and industry standards.

• Ensure HIPAA compliance by safeguarding confidential information and adhering to specific regulations.

• Execute other responsibilities as assigned by management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and over 3 years of experience as a software developer.

• More than 3 years of experience in root cause analysis and other troubleshooting approaches.

• Comprehensive understanding of Well Architected Frameworks.

• Over 3 years of experience with functional, imperative, and object-oriented programming languages; familiarity with C# and Java is preferred.

• At least 1 year of experience with scripting languages like Python.

• Experience with Azure-based microservices and infrastructure.

• Proficiency in coding, testing, and documenting complex systems.

• Capability to utilize version control software such as Git.

• Experience in communicating with users, technical teams, and management to gather requirements, identify tasks, provide estimates, and meet production deadlines.

• Understanding of professional software engineering best practices throughout the software development life cycle.

• Experience with unit testing methodologies.

• Over 2 years of experience with SQL Server or Azure SQL.

• More than 2 years of experience with Azure DevOps, automated testing, CI builds, and release pipelines.

• Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently at the same time.

• Skill in applying the Azure Well Architected Framework to designs, troubleshooting, and deployments.

• Quick learning ability across various technologies and programming languages.

• Competence in resolving complex problems in a structured manner.

• Experience working in an Agile software development environment and as part of a Scrum team.

• Capability to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Must safeguard confidential information and comply with HIPAA guidelines.
