Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, create, test, and implement comprehensive software applications and automation solutions.

• Provide support for programming and scripting languages utilized within Azure and conventional data centers.

• Maintain, improve, and resolve issues in legacy applications.

• Collaborate with the data science team, platform automation team, and various business units.

• Develop, manage, and troubleshoot both web and mobile applications.

• Create, maintain, and troubleshoot automation scripts across .NET, C#, Python, and other programming languages.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to established frameworks.

• Engage in code reviews and share knowledge within the team.

• Debug and address software and script issues while conducting root cause analysis.

• Work alongside designers, developers, and product managers to implement new features.

• Test and deploy applications, scripts, and cloud technologies.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry standards, development tools, and programming methodologies.

• Uphold confidentiality and ensure HIPAA compliance.

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by management.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

• Over 3 years of experience as a software developer.

• More than 3 years of experience in root cause analysis and troubleshooting methodologies.

• Comprehensive understanding of Well Architected Frameworks.

• At least 3 years of experience with functional, imperative, and object-oriented programming languages; familiarity with C# and Java is preferred.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in scripting languages, particularly Python.

• Experience with microservices and infrastructure based on Azure.

• Proficient in coding, testing, and documenting complex systems.

• Capability to utilize version control software such as Git.

• Experience in communicating with users, technical teams, and management to gather requirements, identify tasks, provide estimates, and meet production deadlines.

• Familiarity with professional software engineering best practices throughout the entire software development life cycle.

• Experience with unit testing methodologies.

• At least 2 years of experience with SQL Server or Azure SQL.

• Over 2 years of experience with Azure DevOps, automated testing, CI builds, and release pipelines.

• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and efficiently.

• Capacity to apply the Azure Well Architected Framework in designs, troubleshooting, and deployments.

• Quick learning ability across various technologies and programming languages.

• Skill in resolving complex problems in a structured approach.

• Experience working within an Agile software development environment and as part of a Scrum team.

• Capability to meet the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
