Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in cloud engineering operations and actively participate in software development initiatives.

• Diagnose technical problems and devise as well as implement corrective measures.

• Engage in hands-on software development, which includes writing and reviewing code.

• Ensure optimal utilization of cloud technologies while adhering to established quality standards.

• Identify and deliver technological solutions that enhance products, systems, interfaces, business processes, and overall performance.

• Provide coaching, mentoring, and knowledge sharing with fellow software developers.

• Contribute to enhancing development capabilities throughout the team and the organization.

• Advocate for a positive development culture and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Define automation and tooling strategies for build, release, and container platforms.

• Assess when solutions and code modifications are ready for the subsequent delivery phase.

• Escalate technical issues or risks to the Development Manager and Team Lead as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in desktop application development.

• Robust background in software engineering or cloud infrastructure.

• Strong grasp of technical cloud operations and automation practices.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).

• Proficient scripting abilities in PowerShell, Python, Perl, and Ansible.

• Knowledge of networking principles and network security.

• Capability to integrate operational quality into software delivery initiatives.

• Eagerness to learn and adopt new technologies.

• Strong collaborative skills, particularly within cross-functional teams.

• Ability to assess and implement solutions that enhance system performance and business process efficiency.

• Experience in reviewing code and solutions to ensure adherence to development best practices.

• Background in coaching, mentoring, or knowledge sharing with developers.

• Comprehensive understanding of development practices and standards.
