This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
β’ Develop, implement, and maintain software solutions for managing large, semi-automated pharmacies at locations throughout the US
β’ Sustain legacy software built in C++/MFC
β’ Address bugs and improve software functionality
β’ Investigate and analyze issues
β’ Design and construct significant new features with minimal supervision
β’ Upgrade existing projects
β’ Offer support to key customers
β’ Resolve challenging and intricate support problems
β’ Engage with the complete software stack, from low-level robotic and conveyor controls to database management, UI, and web services
β’ Take part in on-call support rotations during weekends and evenings
β’ Occasional travel may be required, potentially up to 25%
β’ Generally requires over 4 years of experience as a Windows software developer
β’ Proficient in designing and writing high-performance back-end code using Visual C++ and MFC
β’ Familiarity with C# in conjunction with ASP.NET and/or .NET Core, along with MVC
β’ Strong SQL skills with Microsoft SQL Server and/or MariaDB/MySQL
β’ Experience with RESTful API services
β’ Expertise in developing multi-threaded and distributed applications
β’ Professional communication skills suitable for direct customer engagement
β’ Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team
β’ Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities
β’ Experience with Git, Jenkins, TDD, and automated testing methodologies
β’ Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and learn efficiently
β’ Knowledge of service-oriented architecture and/or microservices architectures is advantageous
β’ Familiarity with Entity Framework and Entity Framework Core
β’ Understanding of service monitoring, performance optimization, and testing tools
β’ Experience with AngularJS, HTML5, React, or related web technologies
β’ Background in desktop application development utilizing WPF, WCF, and the MVVM design pattern
β’ Familiarity with hardware interfaces, including sockets and serial communication
β’ Comfortable with fundamental Windows workstation and domain administration
β’ Understanding of networking concepts, including VPN and firewall configuration
β’ Experience with real-time control/PLC systems and integration, particularly with Beckhoff
β’ Willingness to provide on-call rotational support during weekends and evenings
β’ Ability to travel up to 25%
β’ Must possess authorization to work in the U.S.
β’ A bachelorβs degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is preferred
