Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Design, test, and uphold software components that enhance development capabilities and critical workflows.

• Identify and resolve software issues with the assistance of senior engineers.

• Apply enhancements, features, and bug fixes in accordance with coding standards and configuration management practices.

• Work alongside systems engineers and software developers to grasp requirements, document modifications, and ensure technical precision.

• Assist with integration and deployment in development, testing, and operational environments.

• Engage in code reviews and support process enhancements and best practices within the team.

• Ensure precise technical documentation is maintained throughout the development lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical domain (or equivalent relevant experience).

• Knowledge of modern programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript.

• Familiarity with cloud technologies, containerization, or DevSecOps concepts.

• An active Top Secret clearance or higher is required.

• Basic understanding of software development principles, version control, and debugging methodologies.

• Experience with automated testing frameworks or CI/CD pipelines.

• A keen interest in mission-driven software development, operational systems, or systems engineering.

• Capability to collaborate effectively in a team setting and communicate proficiently.

• Strong analytical abilities and a desire to learn new tools, technologies, and domain knowledge.

• US work authorization without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
