Software Applications Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Offer technical support, troubleshooting, and customer assistance for Frontline software solutions.

• Provide training and implementation support to new clients, aiding in product launches, upgrades, and the introduction of new features.

• Assist in sales efforts through technical discussions, customer presentations, and demonstrations of product features.

• Gather, document, and relay customer feedback to aid in product enhancement and improvement planning.

• Engage in travel both domestically and internationally to support customer interactions, implementations, training, and project-related tasks.

• Provide support for Frontline software products throughout the Americas and Europe.

• Report directly to the Regional Product Manager for the Americas and Europe.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating within a dynamic, cross-functional team environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of clearly explaining technical topics to both customers and internal teams.

• Proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.

• Prior experience in customer support, software implementation, technical training, and project management in a technical context.

• Familiarity with PCB manufacturing processes and associated engineering workflows is highly desirable.

• Administrative-level knowledge of Frontline software products, such as InCAM Pro, InFlow, InSight, or Genesis, is highly desirable.

• Experience with high-level programming languages like Perl or Python, as well as Oracle database management, is a plus.

• Willingness to travel 25% both domestically and internationally.

• A Master's Level Degree with no related work experience; alternatively, a Bachelor's Level Degree with 2 years of relevant work experience.
