Social Media Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Coordinate and publish content on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.

• Design basic graphics and create short video clips.

• Engage with comments and messages using the brand's voice.

• Monitor engagement metrics and provide weekly performance reports.

• Conduct research on trends and content inspirations.

• Manage the daily social media calendar for a UK-based brand.

• Work UK hours from 09:00 to 17:00 UK time (11:00 to 19:00 SAST).

• Proven experience in managing social media for a brand or business.

• Proficiency in Canva and familiarity with scheduling tools like Metricool or Buffer.

• Excellent written English and a keen eye for compelling content.

• Basic knowledge of social media analytics.

• Dependable in meeting deadlines.

• Experience with editing short videos using CapCut (preferred but not required).

• Understanding of paid social media fundamentals (preferred but not required).

• Experience in crafting captions for a UK audience (preferred but not required).
