SOC Analyst I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee SOC incidents, including incident triage and response.

• Evaluate and classify alerts generated by the SIEM.

• Address user tickets concerning spam, phishing, USB devices, and WhatsApp Web.

• Gather evidence and execute first-level procedures.

• Create tickets for escalation to higher support levels when required.

• Record procedures and updates in tickets.

• Continuously oversee Information Security environments.

• Detect suspicious events and potential threats.

• Conduct log and security event analysis.

• Assist in incident investigation and response.

• Utilize monitoring tools, SIEM, and other security solutions.

• Aid in the management and oversight of Information Security tools.

• Execute vulnerability-related testing and analysis.

• Escalate more intricate incidents.

• Prepare technical reports and document incident information.

• Keep procedure and incident documentation current.

• Adhere to Information Security processes, procedures, and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Information Security.

• Understanding of computer networks, operating systems, and security protocols.

• Familiarity with security environment monitoring and log analysis.

• Knowledge of security incident identification, triage, and management.

• Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and incident response.

• Capability to analyze and investigate security events.

• Strong communication and organizational skills for incident documentation and recording.

• Certifications like CompTIA Security+, CEH, or similar are advantageous.

• Familiarity with SIEM tools is beneficial.

• Experience with monitoring and event correlation tools is a plus.

• Understanding of vulnerability analysis is a plus.

• Experience with Incident Response processes is a bonus.

• Knowledge of Information Security frameworks and best practices is advantageous.

• Familiarity with EDR/XDR (Trend Micro).

• Basic understanding of suspicious email analysis.

• Knowledge of Windows operating systems.
