SOC Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Conduct initial monitoring of systems to detect alerts and suspicious activities.

• Analyze security alerts in accordance with established procedures, searching for patterns and correlations.

• Generate fundamental reports regarding monitoring activities and incidents.

• Compile audit reports and evaluate security consoles along with technical vulnerabilities.

• Offer technical assistance to users, clients, and other teams for issues related to the SOC's responsibilities.

• Refer issues to support teams as required.

• Address low- to medium-complexity incidents.

• Develop and maintain documentation for internal SOC processes and security consoles.

• Contribute to the enhancement and updates of security tools within the environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Familiarity with incident identification, triage, and response processes.

• Experience in preparing security documentation, reports, and conducting health checks.

• Knowledge of or experience with EDR, SIEM, SOAR, and Vulnerability Management tools.

• Understanding of firewalls and network perimeter protection technologies (NGFW, WAF, VPN, XDR, etc.).

• Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems and containers.

• Currently enrolled in a university program related to technology or information security.

• Willingness to work a 12x36 shift schedule, from 5:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (night shift).
