Cyber Defender – SOC Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Identify and address threats within the Cyber Defense Center (SOC) through comprehensive investigations.

• Support the creation and execution of internal procedures.

• Work alongside CDC teams to promote ongoing enhancements and automation.

• Engage across the complete detection and response framework, covering identity, endpoint, network, and cloud.

• Participate in projects with internal teams and clients to enhance the service.

• Address threats in a 24/7 global Cyber Defense Center, adhering to the Follow the Sun support model.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.

• Proficiency with security tools such as EDR and SIEM.

• Dependable nature, self-motivated, eager to take on more responsibilities, with strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Openness to work within a Follow the Sun support model and be on-call, including during off-hours and holidays.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Security Stacks is an advantage.

• Relevant security certifications are desirable.

• Strong enthusiasm for information security.

• Comprehensive understanding across the entire security landscape.

• Extensive knowledge in at least one area: Identity, Endpoint, Network, or Cloud.
