This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Foster innovation and enthusiasm within the virtual learning environment.
• Develop strategies to engage and support student learning as well as build strong student relationships.
• Assess speech and language proficiency levels.
• Create and implement treatment plans tailored to individual student requirements.
• Record session details and track progress towards IEP objectives.
• Collaborate with school or district personnel to communicate information regarding student advancement.
• Provide virtual instruction and assist students in completing their courses.
• A Master's degree (or higher) in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Possession of one of the following: California SLP License, Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential (CL-879), or ASHA CCC-SLP.
• Completion of a Live Scan Fingerprint with Fullmind.
• Maintain good standing without any disciplinary actions on any held licenses.
• Experience using telehealth platforms for assessments and therapy delivery within a school/IEP setting.
• A dependable, FERPA-compliant technology setup: including a webcam, headset, stable high-speed internet, and a private, distraction-free workspace.
• Familiarity with IDEA and California special education laws/Ed Code requirements.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting with classroom teachers, case managers, and families.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• This position operates as a 1099 contract and does not include employee benefits.
• The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience and placement.
