This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Foster creativity and enthusiasm within the virtual learning environment.
• Develop strategies to engage students and cultivate meaningful student relationships.
• Assess speech and language proficiency levels.
• Design and implement treatment plans tailored to individual student needs.
• Maintain documentation of sessions and track progress towards IEP objectives.
• Collaborate with school or district staff to share updates regarding student progress.
• Provide virtual speech-language instruction and assist students in completing their courses.
• Master's degree (or higher) in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Possession of one of the following: California SLP License, Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential (CL-879), or ASHA CCC-SLP.
• Completion of a Live Scan Fingerprint with Fullmind.
• Must be in good standing without any disciplinary actions on any licenses held.
• Experience utilizing telehealth platforms for assessment and therapy delivery in a school/IEP context.
• Reliable technology setup that is FERPA-compliant: webcam, headset, stable high-speed internet, and a private/distraction-free workspace.
• Familiarity with IDEA and California special education law/Ed Code requirements.
• Comfort in collaborating remotely with classroom teachers, case managers, and families.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States.
• This position is classified as a 1099 independent contractor role.
• The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience and placement.
