SLIMS Technical Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Assess customer requirements and convert them into OpenLab Sync workflows.

• Customize the OpenLab Sync platform to align with laboratory specifications.

• Develop plugins for instrument connectivity or for showcasing custom forms and portals.

• Serve as the customer advocate to shape future product design and fulfill customer expectations.

• Integrate in-silico laboratory tools into the existing framework.

• Provide support to customers utilizing Agilent's laboratory informatics product solutions.

• Collaborate closely with clients to pinpoint and implement tailored solutions.

• Travel to diverse laboratories to deliver customer support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Scientific Informatics, or a related field, or substantial relevant experience in the application engineering sector.

• Practical laboratory experience in analytical chemistry, biobanks, pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, genomics, NGS, Academia, etc.

• Preferred experience with LIMS, ELN, LES, SDMS, CDS, laboratory automation, scientific software, or laboratory workflow management systems.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python with a demonstrated ability in coding.

• Experience interacting directly with customers, stakeholders, laboratory users, or cross-functional project teams is highly valued.

• Fluent in English.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interaction at various levels.

• Eagerness to continuously learn about new software technologies, instruments, applications, and consumables.

• Capacity to deliver outstanding customer support.

• Ability to work both collaboratively within a team and independently.
