Travel Consultant – After Hours, German and English Speaking, Amadeus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Provide advice and coordinate travel arrangements for corporate business clients, both individuals and groups.

• Evaluate and research travel alternatives while proactively anticipating the needs of travelers to promote additional services.

• Organize and reserve domestic and international business travel, encompassing air, road, rail, and lodging.

• Utilize the Amadeus Global Distribution System effectively.

• Ensure adherence to the agreed travel policies of customers, service provider regulations, and legal requirements.

• Employ positive telephone service techniques and respond to specific customer requests.

• Work collaboratively with the team to guide, mentor, and provide constructive feedback aimed at enhancing service quality.

• Operate within the After Hours team in a shared customer service environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in GDS (Amadeus), with at least two years of experience.

• Native or fully proficient in German, both written and spoken.

• Proficiency in English and any other European language is considered an advantage.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to act with integrity while safeguarding personal traveler information.

• Comprehensive understanding of the travel sector, including business travel, leisure travel, or airline reservations.

• Capability to resolve customer issues swiftly, either independently or in collaboration with suppliers.

• Commitment to teamwork and receptiveness to feedback.

• Flexibility and readiness to work fixed afternoon shifts and weekends.

• Capacity to operate in a 24/7 Traveler Care environment.
