Site Reliability Engineer – m/f/d

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Manage and take charge of the development and infrastructure platform utilizing Kubernetes, Pulumi/Terraform, and cloud-native technologies.

• Prioritize the stability, reliability, and long-term sustainability of the platform.

• Collaborate closely at the junction of software development and infrastructure.

• Integrate knowledge of software architecture and development into platform activities.

• Continuously automate infrastructure processes to minimize manual tasks.

• Establish and maintain effective monitoring and alerting systems.

• Actively participate in incident management.

• Perform structured analysis of incidents and address root causes in a sustainable manner.

• Convert insights obtained into further enhancements of the platform.

• Be available as a point of contact during standard working hours for the swift and dependable management of critical incidents.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification.

• Multiple years of professional experience in the development and management of cloud-native platforms and infrastructures.

• Extensive expertise in Kubernetes, from design to implementation and productive operation of complex cluster environments.

• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools, specifically Pulumi and/or Terraform.

• Comprehension of contemporary software development principles.

• Ideally, some familiarity with Python.

• Strong judgment and a practical approach to intricate technical challenges, particularly in time-sensitive situations.

• Availability for on-call duty during regular working hours.

• Excellent German language proficiency (minimum C1 level).
