Senior Dev Ops Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define, implement, and oversee infrastructure as code across development, staging, and production environments utilizing Terraform.

• Deploy and sustain containerized applications using Docker, ECS, and Kubernetes.

• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deployment processes.

• Manage and enhance a robust, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure.

• Work with AWS services such as CodePipeline, Elastic Beanstalk, EC2, RDS, Load Balancing, and Autoscaling Groups.

• Ensure efficient and secure API integration with backend systems.

• Implement security measures through AWS WAF.

• Oversee networking and routing to ensure connectivity, load balancing, and high availability.

• Collaborate with development, QA, and other teams to resolve infrastructure, deployment, and cloud architecture challenges.

• Monitor infrastructure performance, optimize resource usage, and maintain uptime standards.

• Apply cloud-agnostic design principles and collaborate with other cloud providers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.

• Proficient in Docker, ECS, and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, including AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, and GitLab CI.

• Comprehensive knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, RDS, Elastic Beanstalk, CodePipeline, Autoscaling Groups, and WAF.

• Experience using Git or Bitbucket.

• Strong troubleshooting and debugging capabilities.

• Understanding of networking and routing concepts in a cloud environment.

• Experience with full stack observability tools such as Grafana, Splunk, and Prometheus.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Over 7 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect, or a similar role.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

• Experience with Linux OS administration, computer virtualization technologies, Python, Node.js, .NET, ticketing software, AWS Transit Gateway, Control Tower, or Account Factory is considered a plus.
