Site Reliability Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Establish and uphold Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and error budgets for essential platform services.

• Develop and enhance Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure dependable software delivery.

• Design and oversee scalable cloud infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies.

• Implement solutions for monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting throughout the platform.

• Work in conjunction with engineering teams to integrate reliability practices within the development life cycle.

• Direct incident response efforts and conduct post-mortem evaluations.

• Automate operational workflows to minimize manual tasks and boost efficiency.

• Assist with security and compliance efforts for enterprise-level deployments.

• Guarantee platform scalability, reliability, and high availability.

• Contribute to infrastructure design and operational strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.

• Strong background with cloud platforms, ideally AWS.

• Practical experience using Terraform, Pulumi, or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.

• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools like Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus.

• Understanding of incident management and operational procedures in production environments.

• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards for enterprises.

• Experience with scripting and automation in Python or Go.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Upper-Intermediate proficiency in English.
