Site Reliability Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.

📋 Description

• Evaluate the maturity of services and provide valuable insights to development teams.

• Collaborate with development teams to enforce best practices in observability.

• Empower development teams to independently manage service deployment, support, and infrastructure.

• Guide developers in reliability practices to foster their self-sufficiency.

• Facilitate the adoption of tools and practices among development teams, acting as a liaison between Platform Division teams and development teams.

• Enhance the stability, resilience, and operational preparedness of services.

• Participate in company-wide initiatives related to reliability, observability standards, incident response methodologies, and service health metrics.

• Design for reliability, establish ownership and standards, and develop shared tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Profound understanding of observability practices within distributed system environments.

• Hands-on experience with SRE concepts, including SLOs, error budgets, and incident management.

• 3–5+ years of experience in software development, SRE, DevOps, or production development roles.

• Experience in operating production systems.

• Expertise in cloud-native platforms.

• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code concepts and tools.

• Proficient in at least one programming language.

• Experience with TypeScript/Node.js is advantageous.

• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical teams.

• Capability to convert complex reliability concepts into practical guidance.
