Site Reliability Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of professional experience in SRE, DevOps, or similar infrastructure roles.

• Strong practical experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure.

• Extensive experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.

• Proficient in Kubernetes within production environments.

• Solid scripting and automation capabilities using Python.

• Strong grasp of Site Reliability Engineering principles.

• Comprehensive understanding of software engineering principles and best practices, including clean and maintainable code, testing, debugging, version control, and code review standards.

• Practical experience with AI-assisted engineering tools for coding, infrastructure automation, troubleshooting, testing, and technical documentation.

• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools like Datadog or New Relic.

• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and deployment automation.

• Knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases, SQL, and database fundamentals.

• In-depth understanding of cloud architecture patterns, with the ability to optimize systems for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

• Comfortable with frequent, incremental testing and deployment practices.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to work independently and take ownership of infrastructure and reliability challenges.

• Proficient in English communication skills – Minimum B2 level proficiency.
