Site Reliability Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Establish the reliability benchmarks across ElevenLabs' platforms.

• Develop and execute disaster recovery initiatives, setting recovery objectives and conducting regular tests.

• Collaborate with each product team to define SLAs and SLOs.

• Create tools to monitor SLAs and SLOs by product and customer.

• Take ownership of detection, response, and learning from incidents.

• Design alerting mechanisms, incident processes, post-mortem analyses, and on-call procedures.

• Develop AI-assisted investigation and automated resolution processes, including agent-led diagnostics and automated remediation.

• Integrate with product teams to enhance resilient architecture and engineering practices at scale.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience managing production systems at scale in roles such as SRE, infrastructure engineer, or similar.

• Demonstrated history of significantly improving reliability.

• Strong foundation in backend development.

• Experience in addressing reliability challenges through coding and automation.

• Proven track record in managing incident response, on-call duties, and post-mortem evaluations.

• Experience in driving solutions to completion.

• Familiarity with observability and alerting practices.

• Experience in defining and monitoring SLOs or SLAs.

• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure.

• Preference for candidates with experience in GCP and AWS.
