This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Offer technical and project management assistance for TSA Security Equipment Deployment Services
• Act as site lead/project manager throughout the entire project lifecycle
• Perform site surveys and validations; identify and alleviate risks
• Manage stakeholder coordination, communications, scheduling, reporting, drawings, permits, subcontractors, installations, testing, and project closure
• Serve as the technical liaison for TSA Deployment and Sustainment Division Checkpoint Deployment Coordinators
• Plan and oversee installations, removals, and relocations of checkpoint security screening equipment
• Supervise project timelines, report discrepancies, and monitor installation activities
• Organize shipments, equipment handling, delivery, badging, permitting, and storage
• Prepare or revise ReMAG equipment request forms and coordinate DD-1149 forms
• File Test Readiness Notifications and liaise with testing stakeholders
• Provide on-site assistance for equipment delivery and removal
• Document deployments with before-and-after images in the TSA iShare repository
• Oversee equipment delivery, rigging, placement, installation, integration, and removal
• Support ORT, SAT, and ISAT scheduling and monitor testing activities
• Facilitate de-installation, decommissioning, cleaning, packaging, dunnage removal, and site restoration
• Create agendas and lead ad hoc, weekly, IPT, and installation readiness meetings
• Record meeting minutes and distribute them to the team
• Provide status reports, schedule updates, information, and future planning to Leidos, TSA, and stakeholders
• Travel to designated airports and work non-standard shifts as necessary
• Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of experience or a Master’s Degree with 6 years of experience; eight years of additional relevant experience may substitute for a BA/BS degree
• Minimum of three years in Project Management, including two years in an airport setting
• Proven Project Manager experience, ideally in construction management, delivering projects on-time and within budget
• Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders on a single project
• Proficient in planning and developing design alternatives and solutions for construction projects
• Management experience with field personnel and subcontracting companies
• Experience addressing compliance issues with federal, state, and local authorities regarding design specifications
• Comprehensive understanding of airport construction practices, processes, standards, floor loading, electrical infrastructure, seismic requirements, and rigging complexities
• Familiarity with the Checkpoint Requirements and Planning Guide (CRPG) for checkpoint operations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
• TSA vetted, currently or in the past
• TSA experience at a checkpoint, baggage, or security outpost is preferred
• Experience in Transportation Security Equipment deployment management in the Central Region of the United States is preferred
• Professional certifications such as Licensed PE, PMI® PMP, or General Contractor License are advantageous
• Knowledge of MS Project or other scheduling tools is preferred
• Capability to coordinate and manage multidisciplinary technical and project management teams
• Willingness to travel up to 75% and be available for evening or weekend shifts as needed
• Up to 75% travel to assigned airport locations
• Airport badge with escort privileges, valid for the duration of the project
• Professional certifications are beneficial, including Licensed PE, PMI® PMP, or General Contractor License
