This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collect and assess business requirements to create efficient SharePoint solutions.
• Set up and oversee sites, site collections, lists, libraries, content types, metadata, and navigation.
• Manage SharePoint farms using Central Administration and PowerShell.
• Configure and maintain web applications, service applications, search functionalities, workflows, and permissions.
• Oversee authentication, access controls, and security for the platform.
• Monitor the health, availability, capacity, and performance of the platform.
• Resolve issues related to applications, infrastructure, configuration, and user access.
• Assist with deployments, patches, backups, restorations, and disaster recovery tasks.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and database teams, including those working with Windows Server, IIS, Active Directory, and SQL Server.
• Create technical documentation and offer guidance or training to users and stakeholders.
• Proven experience in designing, configuring, administering, and supporting on-premises SharePoint environments.
• Practical experience with SharePoint Server 2016.
• Familiarity with SharePoint Central Administration and farm architecture.
• Experience in managing site collections, web applications, and service applications.
• Knowledge of SharePoint Search, permissions, and security practices.
• Proficiency in Windows Server and Internet Information Services (IIS).
• Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Understanding of Active Directory and claims-based authentication.
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting.
• Familiarity with SharePoint lists, libraries, workflows, content types, and metadata.
• Experience in information architecture and document management.
• Willingness to work during scheduled maintenance windows from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Atlantic Standard Time (AST/UTC−4), as needed and pre-arranged.
• Ability to convert business requirements into functional and technical SharePoint solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and skills in root-cause analysis.
• Knowledge of SharePoint governance, security, and platform administration.
• Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent documentation and knowledge transfer capabilities.
• Experience with SharePoint Designer 2013, InfoPath 2013, C# and .NET, CSOM, REST APIs, custom web parts, farm solutions, migrations or version upgrades, other SharePoint Server versions, SharePoint Online or hybrid environments, reporting integrations, or high-availability and disaster recovery environments is a plus.
