Services Advisor II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Oversee all facets of site evaluations, encompassing pre-assessment preparations, the assessment process, and follow-up assignments.

• Travel to client locations, typically leading a team, to evaluate customer systems and identify potential products and services that Motion can offer.

• Analyze customer requirements and generate reports based on data gathered at customer sites, including estimates, technical specifications, and pricing considerations.

• Investigate customer technical specifications and requirements in relation to product specifications.

• Evaluate customer data to provide technical recommendations.

• Design tailored solutions that align with customer specifications.

• Complete technical reports for customers and account representatives, which include proposals, technical specifications, estimates, and pricing considerations.

• Deliver technical sales presentations to customers.

• Lead the configuration of products post-sale.

• Collaborate with customers, vendor partners, local branches, utility companies, and contractors to ensure proper implementation of solutions.

• Facilitate technical user training and product briefings as required.

• Cross-reference customer data using the market basket tool to access historical product cost data when necessary.

• Mentor and guide lower-level Services Advisors as necessary.

• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED along with three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with clarity and conciseness.

• Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.

• Capability to cultivate and sustain relationships with internal staff, vendor partners, and external clients.

• Proficiency in creating original reports and proposals for clients.

• Outstanding analytical skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse array of internal and external partners.

• Strong mathematical skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Willingness to travel to customer sites and various facilities.

• Availability to travel up to 40% of the time.

• Capacity to walk for up to eight hours a day for a 40-hour work week in diverse manufacturing environments throughout all seasons.
